Fishy Card (using Cricut Create a Critter Cartridge)

I just got my first Cricut this week and I have been playing around with it. I decided to make a fish card for my Grandfather with the Create a Critter cartridge.

Notes about the card front:
  • Fish: I only used Layer 2 and the Shadow for the fish shape. I cut these out in 1", two in .5" and  in .75" but also with the "flip" button on so the fish would face the other direction.
  • I turned the "real dial size" button on to cut the little plants. I think the biggest ones are 2.5 or 2.25".
  • To make the air bubbles I cut different small sizes of the  fish shapes "phrase" with the shift key on to get the solid circle. I also cut out some small heart air bubbles. I might have used the heart accessory from the poodle (page 36) to do that, but you could use any of them.
Notes about card inside:
  • The words came from another cartridge. Probably Cindy Loo.
Notes about envelope:
  • I used the envelope that came with the card, but I cut out the cute love stamp on the create a critter cartridge. It can be found on the page with the Snail  and is the Accessory and Accessory + Shift options (p. 67).  I cut them out at 1.5". However, if you want the LOVE part to fill up the stamp better, cut only that part at size 1.34".  (Real Dial Size OFF for all of this.)
  • I made extra stamps for when I make Valentine cards :)
